Eric Townley

Director of Strategy & Development

BIO Born and raised in nearby Waunakee, Eric calls himself a “Wisco boomerang” for the path he’s traced across the country, graduating from UW-Eau Claire and making his way to Boston, Minneapolis, and San Francisco before circling back to Madison. Along the way, he’s collected invaluable traditional and digital marketing experience, launching a wide variety of award-winning global marketing campaigns for the likes of General Mills, Electronic Arts, McDonald’s, and — most recently — Apple. With experience ranging from Super Bowl ads to grassroots digital-only guerrilla campaigns, there is no campaign challenge too big or small for him to handle. Now that he’s been lured back to Madison, Eric’s primary role at The Digital Ring will be to fully immerse himself in our clients’ marketing efforts to ensure each campaign has a unique and cohesive strategic framework. From market research, to campaign development, to executing all of the digital disciplines (SEO, web design, social, etc), he’ll live and breathe your business. Outside of work, Eric can quite literally be found outside. An avid outdoorsman and former surf bum, he loves backpacking, hunting, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and disc golf. When forced indoors, he likes to dabble in the art of homebrewing and is always down to have a drink and talk beer.

Nate Finch

Vice President of Development

BIO Nate has been building websites for individuals, nonprofits, embassies, and businesses since 2011. He loves what he does because he sees web development as the perfect mix of problem solving, building, and lifelong learning. As VP of Development at The Digital Ring, Nate splits his time between developing websites and developing developers. Prior to joining the TDR crew, Nate freelanced, working with dozens of clients through platforms like Toptal and Codeable, and completed a brief stint as a web engineer with 10up. An avid learner, Nate has made a habit of collecting master’s degrees. He's also traveled to six continents (not Antarctica — yet!), has lived on four, speaks Spanish, and is varying degrees of conversational in a couple other languages. Family, friends, food, coffee, and cooking are his favorite activities outside of work. He now lives in Wisconsin with his wonderful wife and daughter.

Josh Jurrens

Vice President of Paid Digital

BIO Josh Jurrens has been with TDR since July of 2017, but he still manages to impress the Crew with his extensive knowledge of all things paid digital on a daily basis. As VP of Paid Digital, Josh is responsible for managing paid search, display, and retargeting efforts for all TDR accounts, not to mention he’s a wiz in all things SEO. Beyond leveraging his skills and extensive experience to create real impact for TDR clients, Josh is a wonderful and patient teacher, whether he’s helping clients understand how best to improve SEO or keeping the TDR Crew up to date on the latest updates within the paid digital sphere. Before joining the TDR fam, Josh spent some time working with high-profile B2B and B2C clients at an agency out of Boston. A born and raised Wisconsinite and UW-Madison grad, Josh is happy to be back in the beer and cheese promised land (and to say we’re thrilled to have him is an understatement).
