What separates a good place to work from a great place to work from one of the best places to work? In 2017, Madison Magazine recognized The Digital Ring as one of Madison’s Best Places to Work – we came in at lucky #7 within the Small (10-50 Employees) category.
Last year, TDR became eligible for this distinction for the first time after hitting the required minimum of 10 employees, not including partners. That means we’re batting 1000 (for those following along at home, that’s 1 success for 1 attempt), and gosh darn it if we don’t make the list again next year.
TDR, how did you merit this exceptional honor?
Glad you asked! Madison Magazine ranked eligible companies based on the below categories:
- Communication and Resources
- Individual Needs
- Manager Effectiveness
- Personal Engagement
- Team Dynamics
- Trust in Leadership
The Digital Ring, along with other finalists in the area, tended to score highest in team dynamics and trust in leadership (which confirms what we already knew… THAT WE LOVE EACH OTHER).
So, what does the TDR crew have to say?
TDR proudly supports a collaborative, challenging, and fun work environment. But don’t take our word for it. Whether crafting a comprehensive digital marketing strategy or designing a beautiful website, the TDR crew seems to like working here. Check out what they’ve said about employment at one of Madison’s Best Places to Work:
I love having the freedom to be creative! The office atmosphere is super fun and collaborative. The crew is incredibly supportive and genuinely excited for each other’s client wins. At TDR, there’s never a shortage of laughter, nerf gun wars, empty coffee cups, dongles, and sarcastic undertones.

There are many strengths The Digital Ring has a company, but the quality and integrity of the people who work here stand out the most. We’ve got each other’s backs and we’ll do whatever it takes to get the job done for our clients.
-Jack
I love the collaborative environment that the partners have created here! We’re all willing to help each other out. Working so closely together helps us come up with the best ideas for our clients.
